Austin has been with the firm since 2019. After graduation, Austin worked in Des Moines, Iowa, for Athene, developing skills related to annuity pricing and rate setting, pension risk transfer data management, mortality/persistency studies, and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) internal audit. At GBC, Austin contributes in all phases of consulting work, including product development, financial statement work, operations and experience analysis, and management reporting. He also plays a significant role in the maintenance and enhancement of GBC’s custom valuation, forecast and pricing systems. Austin and his wife, Emma, are both natives of the Cedar Rapids metro area. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, reading, and going to the movies.
